One of the oldest buildings in Blanco, Al Lackey was held here for about 18 hours before being hung.

This blog was set up to document my investigation into the Lackey Murders which occured in Blanco County Texas in August, 1885. This resulted in the tragic deaths of six people, the wounding of at least two and the hanging of the perpetrator.
